Meda Rackauskaite
At 16, Meda Rackauskaite is a young filmmaker and creative storyteller who brings a thoughtful, collaborative spirit to Stage Scholars. She has hands-on experience with script-writing, filming, editing, theatre, and collaborative creative production.
Meda also has a long-standing connection to WorldWise and to Lisé as an educator. She participated in the Ecological Engineers WorldWise Learning Adventure in Costa Rica and was a math student of Lisé’s for several years while living in Bali. She therefore brings the valuable perspective of someone who has experienced this style of learning firsthand and is now stepping into a junior leadership role.
Meda loves exploring different perspectives and discovering how an idea can grow and evolve through collaboration. Open-minded, supportive, and always willing to experiment, she has a natural ability to listen to others, encourage their ideas, and help everyone find a way to contribute.
As Junior Teaching Assistant, Meda will support students throughout their learning, creative work, rehearsals, and collaborative projects while bringing a valuable near-peer perspective to the group. Her enthusiasm for storytelling and creating alongside others will help encourage students to take creative risks, trust their ideas, and discover where the process can take them.
