Immersive, Place-Based Experiential Learning Programs

Our Upcoming Adventures:

At WorldWise, we believe learning should feel alive — connected, courageous, compassionate, and full of wonder.

We design immersive, interdisciplinary learning adventures for children ages 4–15 that bring together the richness of real-world exploration with the depth of thoughtful, project-based education. Our programs unfold in extraordinary places — volcanic islands, tropical coastlines, mountain villages — and center around themes like ecology, food systems, astronomy, and storytelling. But they are so much more than “school on the road.” They are journeys of connection: to land, to culture, to community, and to self.

In small groups guided by credentialed educators and local experts, students engage in hands-on investigations, creative expression, storytelling, science, movement, and meaningful fieldwork. Whether they’re mapping coral reefs, hiking ancient trade routes, visiting farmers and blacksmiths, or curating their own natural history museum, kids are invited to think deeply, ask boldly, and learn with the world — not just about it.

We nurture both curiosity and capability, weaving academic rigor with playful discovery, and cultivating a sense of belonging within each group and each place we visit. Along the way, families experience a rare and beautiful balance: the freedom to travel and explore unique places with the comfort of a trusted, thoughtfully-designed learning experience.

The Wu Family

We joined the Azores program looking for a learning adventure that was different from our travels. And that’s exactly what we got and more!

Our kids, Max (13) and Myra (11), learned everything from tectonic plates and lava tubes to pumice, basalt, and geothermal energy—but what really stuck were the experiences: hiking through sudden rainstorms, kayaking in a caldera fighting the wind, cooking eggs in hot springs, spotting dolphins and whales up close, and giving presentations surrounded by new friends.

The learning felt like a discovery every day. The science came to life because they were in it, not just reading about it. And along the way, they got muddy, soaked, a little sunburnt… and completely hooked.

We came home with new friendships, great stories, and a deeper sense of curiosity and connection. It was messy, meaningful, and totally worth it!
